Who is Biz?

Ok, you got me there...biz is not my real name

My name is Noah Hughes and I work in the Game Industry as a Design Director.

Although I would prefer not to mention my place of employment, I must still adamantly clarify that all opinions expressed here are my own and not those of my employer!

What Is GameNotebook?

This site is a collection of info, ideas, and links related to
Games and Game Design.

As a Game Designer, I naturally enjoy the pursuit of design-related knowledge. This website is an attempt to promote the collection, discussion, and documentation of design knowledge. With your help, we might just bring a little more clarity to the developing art of Game Design.

If you have a relevant thought, please take a moment to share it with the rest of us.

For now, this effort can't possibly cover the entire subject of Game Design. Some things presented here may even contradict your own sensibilities. If you have something to add, or just plain disagree, please post it on the forums or drop me a note at: biz@gamenotebook.com
